Les Roussilles is more than a campsite to us.
It is a place where we consciously chose to put peace, nature and hospitality at the centre.
We are Sharon and Steven, and together with our children Stella and Mathis, we took over Les Roussilles to build a warm, small-scale campsite here where people can slow down, enjoy the outdoors and feel truly welcome.
Our story
As a family, we were looking for a place where life and work could be balanced.
No mass tourism or rush, but space, nature and time for each other.
The Limousin immediately appealed to us because of its silence, green landscape and authentic character. From the start, Les Roussilles felt like a place with potential as well as soul - a place where we not only want to welcome guests, but also want to live ourselves.
Our children grow up here in nature, between the outdoors and the campsite. You feel that family character as a guest too: Les Roussilles is a place where families quickly feel at home.
Our way of hospitality
At Les Roussilles, we believe that true hospitality lies in simplicity and personal attention.
We like to take the time to welcome our guests, have a chat and offer tips appropriate to their stay. No compulsory programme, but space to follow your own pace.
Steven has a background as a chef and brings his love of honest, pure cuisine to the story of Les Roussilles.
Sharon takes care of the organisation, the welcome and the warm whole that typifies the campsite.
Together, we want to create a place where peace and quality are self-evident.
Languages & communication
We are Dutch, but receive international guests daily.
Communication is smooth in:
- Dutch
- French
- English
In addition, we can also fiddling in German.
This way, we make sure everyone feels understood and welcome.
